Beauty Haul

Hello lovelies!

The past week I have been shopping quite a lot this week in which I have pretty much made myself bankrupt; mostly because Superdrug have a 3 for 2 offer on which I just can't resist! I may also do a separate post of what clothes I bought, so I can keep all of the beauty items in this post. I would alos like to say that I didn't buy all of these in just one trip.

Essie: Turquoise & caicos

This colour is so pretty! Don't ask my what caicos is or how to pronounce it though, apparently it's an island... I'm not to sure. This is actually my first Essie polish and I'm so excited to try it! The colour is like a seafoam green pastel/ turquoise and at the moment turquoise is one of my favourite colours! This cost £7.99S
Bourjois: Delice de Pordre Peaux claires medianes 51

Trying to type the name was a bit of the challenge.I have heard so people rave about this bronzer that I had to go and get one for myself, this will be my first bronzer. The packaging also seems amazing as it closes with a magnet and seems to be really sturdy. I'm excited to try it! This cost £6.99 which I don't think is too bad.

Sleek: Divine Eye Shadow Au Naturel

I've been after a good naturals palette for a while now and I couldn't decide whether to buy this one or the Soap and Glory one and I was all set to get the Soap and Glory until I went into boots and they didn't have any of What's Nude left, so I decided to get this one and plus this one is cheaper, as it costs £7.99, and has a wider variety of colours, with four shimmers and eight mattes. I do apologize for the second picture as I had to try really hard to try and not get myself in it, as when I was taking this it wasn't long after I had woken up.

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush

I've wanted this brush for a while now, but the price has always put me off as I think that £10 is quite expensive for a makeup brush, but I took the plunge and decided to buy it. I use a liquid foundation and this brush is specifically for cream or liquid foundation. The brush handle is easy to hold and the brush feels gentle and soft. I think I may be in love with a make up brush...

Katy Perry Lashes for Eyelure - Cool Kity

If you have seen my beauty wishlist you will know that these were on there. These are my first false eye lashes and I will be wearing or attempting to wear them for prom depending on how well I can apply them, but I've heard that they are easy to apply and they have a good amount of instructions all over the back of the packaging, I'll give it a go and we'll see what happens! These cost £5.95 and I don't have any complaints about that.

Rimmel London 5 in 1 Nail Care

This is another product that I featured on my beauty wishlist. I have tried this product a couple of times and I can see a difference already! Whilst using this my nails are also growing quite quickly as well! I love the brush, as I think the polish applies well and as it is also a base coat and a top coat it makes my nails look shiny, so I think when used over a colour it will really make the colour shine. I think this product is worth the money as it only cost £4.59

Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner

I also hear good reviews about these, so I thought that I would try them for myself (They fact that they were on 2 for £10 at Superdrug also helped me to get them, haha) One thing that I can't seem to stick to is Shampoos and Conditioners, I will rave about them and love them, but then as time goes on I get bored and want to try something new, so in came these. I also love the packaging, as I think that it's different and cute. I've also smelled this and the smell is amazing!

Revlon Lip Butter - Sweet Tart

I have worn this and I was won over by how hydrated my lips felt and how it made my lips look healthy. The colour is a bright bubblehum pink, but can be toned down for a more subtle summer/spring look. This colour also adds a perfect finishing touch to anything fun and girly. This is my second lip butter, as I also have Candy Apple and neither of them have disappointed.

Maxfactor facefinity All Day Flawless Foundation

I've been after a foundation for a while since the one that I had didn't suit my skin tone and was slightly orange.I would swatch this, but it was expensive and I don't want to waste it, as I took these quite a while after I had originally done my makeup. I have the shade 'Warm Almond' and it is perfect for my skin tone, it is not to pale and looks very natural. The foundation is long lasting, as it has lasted all day and not worn off, smudged or gone patchy. The only downside is that it is very expensive, as it retails at £11.99

Maybelline NY Dream Fresh BB Cream Review

Hello lovelies!

Today I will be sharing my opinion on the Maybelline NY Dream Fresh BB Cream (wow, that's a mouthful.) I got this quite a while ago and tried it once and wasn't really a fan, so I just put it away and never looked at it again. Until I was sorting through my makeup bag and decided to test it again and this is how I feel about it.

The product claims to have eight benefits in one, and those benefits are:
                                                       Creates a natural glow
Compliments skin-tone
SPF 30 UV protection
Hydrates all day
Blurs imperfections
Oil free, non-greasy
Looks visibly smooth
Feels fresh
The reason why I didn't like this product at first is because the coverage isn't great and I have natural red cheeks that I like to cover up and this isn't great for that. This product however is good if you want to achieve a natural look as it does create a 'natural glow', so I think that this product will look fabulous in summer when you don't want to go out with a full face of foundation, as this BB cream feels light and fresh and creates a dewy effect.

I don't think I will wear this a lot as it's staying power isn't good and only lasted half a day which is not helpful, I've tried to love this product, but I just can't. I know a few people are in love with this and swear by it, but I just can't. Mainly because of the coverage I like a happy medium coverage and this to light with a ridiculous staying time.

On a note that has nothing to do with the quality of the product, I'm in love with the packaging I think it's really cute and girly where as other packaging can be quite plain I'm in love with this and how the top bit changes by what tone of colour you have bought (I've got light.)

I will not be repurchasing this product as it also broke me out and not to sound vain, but I hardly get spots, I know people who do and suffer with them, but I've always been lucky and not got them, so after about three days of wearing the product I got a couple of spots to which I'm not happy about.

I will not be re-purchasing this product, as I am really not happy with the fact that it broke me out.

(When I was taking the pictures I may have got a bit to much out and I know that I haven't rubbed it in completely)

Review: Lush Golden Wonder

Once upon five months ago, I got a bath bomb for Christmas from Lush: The Golden Wonder. I used this when I got back from Alton Towers, as I was freezing and could do with a good bath.

This bath bomb smells amazing with notes of sweet orange and lime which really does create a lovely fruity aroma. I've seen that this product always get's rave reviews by others and compared to other bath bombs it is quite cheap.

(All pictures have been taken with my iPhone, so sorry for bad quality)

This bath bomb is huge, so moving it can be a little tricky as it is also covered in gold glitter which looks pretty, but it get's all over your hands when you pick it up. This bath bomb also quickly starts to fizz and burst into action with colours of blue, yellow and orange and then finally turns a pretty blue/ turquoise colour.

I think that if I didn't wait five months until using the product it would of been much better, don't get me wrong I still loved it. I did however notice that mine didn't have the little stars in, and again I think that might be because I purchased this in December and have only just got around to using it.

A massive positive about this product though is that the beautiful colour, didn't stain or make any mess in the bath what so ever, once the water had been drained the bath was still white with not a single colored mark!

This product is only available at Christmas time and just writing this review is making me very excited for Christmas, as I will definitely be getting another one!

Alton Towers and OOTD!

Hello lovelies! I would just like to apologize for the lack in posts at the minute, as I have lost my SD card for my camera so I haven't been able to take any pictures, I have a blog post lined up, I just need the SD card the camera.

Now that, that's out of the way let's talk about today, so today I have been to Alton Towers! I go Alton Towers quite a lot, as I live quite close with it being an half an hour drive and I normally have an annual pass which means that I can get in for free. This trip however was the first one of the year and for my friends birthday.

I assume a lot of you who are from Britain have heard of the new ride that's called The Smiler, that was supposed to be open sometime last week... well it isn't open yet and we were really looking forward to going on it, so that was a let down, however when I first got to the park I got a text from my brother asking if I was Alton Towers and when I replied saying yes he started saying that he was as well, but he was working on The Smiler, as he is a painter and decorator and the railings needed painting, so I spent a lot of the day texting my brother and then I went to see him which was lovely.

The only downside about today would be the weather. It has not stopped raining all day, in fact as I write this post it is still raining which is a bummer. We still managed to go on all of the rides that we wanted to though and we even managed to get on nemesis three times!

OOTD - (Sorry for bad quality pictures)

As it started raining pretty much as soon as I left the house I had to keep my coat zipped up, as I realized that if my top got wet then I would of gone a little bit see through which it already is slightly. I also wore a pink jacket underneath the coat just for another layer, as I knew that if I didn't wear something under the coat then I would get soaked and be freezing because the t-shirt and the coat isn't enough to keep warm, as when you;re going to a theme park you don't dress to look good you dress for the weather (Well, I do anyway haha) I kept everything else simple with black leggings, grey socks with small frills and black converse.

Coat - Primark
Jacket - New Look
T-shirt - River Island
Leggings - New Look
Frilly socks - Primark
Converse - Republic

My Beauty Wishlist

Hello lovelies, I haven't made a post in a while and since I am stopping painting my nails up until prom, I won't be making a nails of the week post since I need to strengthen my nails and nail varnish isn't exactly the best thing for nails, but one thing that I can do is come up with a wishlist, as I need to go shopping again to get things for my prom which is now less than a month away, eek! Before I start I would just like to say that non of these pictures are mine and all credit goes to their original sources, so here is a list of all the things that I wish to buy:

Katy Perry for Eyelure: Cool Kitty

I have never worn false eyelashes and I think these ones will be a good place to start, as I have heard nothing, but good reviews about these eyelashes or any other lashes by Katy Perry. From the pictures I have seen of these they do not look over the top, but yet they are well defined. The price of these is £5.95 and I think that these could easily be priced at a much higher price than that, as the quality seems so good from what I have read.

Rimmel London 5 in 1 Nail Care

Like mentioned at the top I need to strength my nails and this seems like a good product to do that, as it claims to be 5 in 1 which means has four other benefits other than strengthening my nails and to be honest I don't have a nail top or base coat I did buy one from collection 2000 a while back, but let's not go into that as it is a shockingly bad nail varnish and does nothing of what it claims to do. I will definitely purchase this and I can't wait to get my hands on it!

EOS Smooth Sphere Summer Fruits Lip Balm

This is another product that I have seen plenty of good reviews about, but sadly I don't think you can get them in Britain, if anyone knows if you can please tell me in the comments below! I always see pictures of these all over tumblr and wish that I could get one for myself, these are also supposed to be one of the best lip balm products about and I'm a huge fan of lip balms.

Zoeva - 231 Petit Crease

My make up brush collection is at a very respectable one at the moment, jokes. I feel like I need more brushes and I think this one must be the 2nd one to be added. I feel like this brush will be good for blending eye shadow something that I want to teach myself how to do.

Soap and Glory - Lid Stuff, Whats Nude?

Like I said before, trying to teach myself how to blend eye shadow and then I figured out that if I want to do that then I need to get a good eye-shadow and I think that this will be a good place to start. There are three matte colour's and one shimmer. It also claims that it 'won't flake, won't fade and won't crease' now I don't know if it's just me being gullible  but that sounds pretty good and the colour's are so pretty, so here it is on my wishlist.

I hope you enjoyed this type of post and if you would like to see more posts from me give me a cheeky follow and I might just follow you back, you may always see a haul in the near future, as I am planning to go shopping very soon and a few lot of pennies might get spent.

Guess who's been shopping?!

This morning I had to get up at stupid o'clock (but that's another story) to go shopping. When I say stupid o'clock I got woken up at 6, yes in the morning. We left the house at 9 and got into town at about quarter past. The first purchase was from Dorothy Perkins.

This is for my prom which is next month, it's just the right size as it's not massive, but it isn't tiny and it matches my shoes, haha! It's a envelope clutch that also has a chain, so it can be put on a shoulder which is a plus as the chain tucks neatly into the bag, but if you fed up of carrying you can just whip the chain out and put it on your shoulder, haha! It costs £20, but I got it for £16.00 and I have no idea why, we had no discount or anything, but got £4, but I'm not complaining. If you want to check this out you can here!

New Look

I've been after something like this for a while now and I did see this exact thing Miss Selfridge, but it cost £14 so when I found the same product in New Look for £6.99 it was a bargain! It's cheap and cheerful and exactly what I was looking for so I'm in that stage at the moment when you have something new and love it. I can't seem to find this on the website in Gold, but I can find it in Pink Gold and Silver, so if you still want a look, you can here!

Topshop

This lipstick just looks so cute! It's such a nice colour spring, as it isn't that bright, but is bright enough if you get what I mean, I haven't tried this on at all which I probably should have done, so I could have a bit more to talk about, but I didn't so you will just have to look at the looks as the packaging is also really cute, Topshop definitely have the best packaging for make up. If you want to check this out, you can here!

This is also for prom. It matches well with the bag and other accessories that I have bought for prom, it's small and quite simple and I think it will look good with my dress. It isn't over powering and it's just small and simple, but yet quite elegant. This costs £12.50 which I think is expensive, but I think everything in Topshop is expensive.

Evans

I hope you can see that alright. This is also another thing for prom. As you can see it has some silver crystal things and isn't anything to over the top, it's just simple and silver exactly what I was looking for. It cost £7.50 which I think is quite expensive. Either everything is expensive or I'm just really tight with money, haha.

Primark

This dress was to cute to leave behind. As you can see it's a light blue colour with small poka dots, also on the pockets at the top are bows. The buttons are wooden and I've just noticed that one of them on mine has broken in half, so I might take it back, you can't tell, but it's still broken, boo! This only cost £10 which is reasonable, this dress will look good in summer or in the warmer days of spring.

The only reason I bought these is for sleeping. These will be really good for when it gets warmer at night and just good for sleeping in. They cost £3 so that's really good as £6 for two pairs of shorts is a bargain! I don't really have a lot to say about these as nothing exciting will be happening whilst wearing these, only sleeping, haha!

I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it. The picture doesn't do it a lot of justice, but it's fab. I feel like this would be perfect for any festivals or going to a theme park. In fact it would be good for most things, but if the rain is shocking then I don't think that this is appropriate for that.

River Island

As soon as I saw this on the website I loved it, it's literally my perfect t-shirt. It's oversized, it's long, it has a cute design and it has turned up sleeves if that's the appropriate word, but 30% of the money goes towards breast cancer which makes it even more perfect. It costs £15 which I don't think is that bad, but seriously, I'm in love with this, you have no idea!

USC

Notice I saved these beauties for last... so everyone that got bored and left halfway through, ha look what you're missing out on!:p Anyway, I may have mentioned that prom is next month and these will be the shoes that I will be wearing for prom, but they are beautiful! The heel is about 5 and a half inches and they cost £12, £12 THAT IS A BARGAIN!  They were supposed to be £30, but then they were in the sale for £15 and then when we paid for them they were £12! These are now the love of my life... I need to get out more...
